Aufbau einer Lern- und Entwicklungspartnerschaft für Berliner Unternehmen
Ziel des Projektes ist es, ein Transfernetzwerk aus Kontakten der Sozial-, Gesundheits- und Technologiewirtschaft im Großraum Berlin und kalifornischen Unternehmen aus diesen Branchen aufzubauen, um die Lebensbedingungen älterer Menschen nachhaltig zu verbessern. Im Rahmen dieses Netzwerkes erhalten die Beteiligten einen schnelleren Zugang zu validierten Innovationen, Expertisen, Best Practices und Evaluationsergebnissen aus der jeweils anderen Region. Ein Erfahrungsaustausch, der zur gemeinsamen, internationalen und intersektionalen Entwicklung neuer Produkte führen kann und das Expansionspotenzial für Berliner Unternehmen auf eine neue Ebene hebt. So kann die Attraktivität Berlins für Gründer:innen aus aller Welt gesteigert werden.

Delegation trip to San Francisco, GETA International 2025
9.–12. September 2025
GETA International Network is a transfer and development network against loneliness and for digital participation for older adults - An international learning and development partnership.
Participants in the delegation trip will gain a direct insight into Californian innovation ecosystems relating to digitalization, health and social participation. They will learn about innovations to combat loneliness and promote digital participation in old age - through visits to Californian start-ups and local innovation partners. The companies also benefit from the exchange with leading minds from science, business and civil society in the USA and can take away ideas for their own projects, strategies and pilot projects in Germany.

- Adaptation of Berlin solutions for the USA
- Workshop on transatlantic cooperation

Important Note! The costs of planning and executing the trip are covered by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, and by EU funds. Participants only cover travel and accommodation costs.
